Hospitality is all about guest experience, service and creating memorable moments. Do you want to start your career quickly and do you have a pre-university (havo) diploma? Then the Fast Track Entrepreneur in Hospitality program is perfect for you. Thanks to exemptions for subjects such as Dutch and English, you can complete this level 4 diploma in just two years. During the program you will learn how to provide excellent guest experiences while developing and managing a successful business. You will take courses in hospitality, leadership, marketing, entrepreneurship and financial management.
What will you learn?
In the Fast Track Entrepreneur in Hospitality program, you will learn how to run a business in the hospitality industry. You develop the skills to provide guests with an unforgettable experience, from handling reservations and service to complaint management and safety. You will learn how to lead a team, coach staff and organize daily operations. You will also focus on entrepreneurship: writing a business plan, financial planning, and using marketing and promotion to grow a business. Communication, sustainability and safety are an integral part of the curriculum. With elective modules, you can tailor your program to your own interests and career goals.
Program structure
The program combines theory and practice, which are closely connected. In the first year, you build your foundation in hospitality while spending two days a week in internships at partner companies. You also gain hands-on experience in our in-house training facilities, applying what you learn in class directly in practice. In the second year, you follow advanced modules in leadership and entrepreneurship and complete a five-month full-time internship. This internship can also take place abroad, in countries such as Germany, Austria, Portugal, Cyprus, Ireland, the United States, Aruba, Bonaire, Curaçao, France, Spain, Malta or Belgium. This way, you gain valuable practical experience in a short time, both nationally and internationally.
